Junior Inter-Club Friendly at Comberton
Comberton Squash recently hosted a fun junior squash event with players from clubs around Cambridgeshire attending. Martyn Symmons reports:
I think most enjoyed their games – including the Comberton speciality ‘Wheel of Death’ which is a rotating 2-on -1 competition (although the girls objected to the name and called theirs
‘rotation of niceness’). Then we had round robins (the girls objected to that name too (!)) followed by play-offs. Younger ones also enjoyed some team ‘squockey’ on court 1.
Total was 17 participants (inc. 7 girls) from age 6 to 16.
